Many Apologies, April’s PIM is cancelled as Gavin is unable to make it at the last minute – he’ll be back later in the year, we’ll let you know as soon as we have a new date.
We’re delighted to have Gavin Barry as our headline speaker at April’s PIM.
Gavin Barry is an experienced property investor & developer who has been investing in property since 2001. He currently owns & runs Hugo James International Ltd, which is a property investment and development company focussed on development opportunities in London & the South East.
In addition Hugo James International sources prime investment opportunities for investors throughout the Middle East and Asia Pacific.
Since 2007 he has sourced, traded and managed hundreds of residential properties for investor clients throughout the UK, Ireland and Europe, and at the same time developed his own portfolio with a particular focus on student and other multi-let properties.
Gavin has a particular interest in the mindset and skillset required to become successful. Gavin has studied the approaches of many successful business people, from Richard Branson to Jack Welsh of General Electric. He believes that property is no different from any other business – and the same skills and approach are needed whatever your industry. A positive mindset, goal-setting and strategic vision are all key.
We all know that different people make a success out of all sorts of different strategies. In property as in all other types of business. There are some technical skills and knowledge you need, of course. Even so, what makes the most difference between those who are successful and those who aren’t is their approach and mindset.
Gavin believes that good mentoring support can make all the difference – we completely agree! He’ll be talking specifically about the mindset you need to succeed.
Make sure you join us on 24 April 2014 at Holiday Inn, Bristol City Centre, 6-9 pm – it will be a fascinating evening!
