A BRISTOL Property Investor has put his knowledge and experience gained in the last 25-years to use by publishing his first book.
Del Brown, Managing Director of DB Properties and Property Options, has published his debut book Making Money From Property Bristol Fashion.
The book details tips on how to succeed in the property market despite the current economic climate, along with advice on easy mistakes to avoid.
Del, 48, who owns 150 units, bought his first property for £13,000 and his most recent property for £1.7 million.
He launched three of his businesses; Liv ‘N’ Let Ltd, Let’s Rent and Social Solutions Ltd during the recession and says he wants to share his success.
Del said: “With all the experience gained over the years I reached the stage whereby I felt wanted to give something back.
“I have been approached so many times about giving talks and have always said that’s not something I wanted to do.
“But last year I decided it would be good to capture all my thoughts in a book to help inspire young investors and those who want to get into the property market.
“I had been thinking about it for years but I actually went for it last October and the book took six months to write.
“It’s full of tips rather than being an in depth process of how to buy properties.
“There are lots of ways people can get into the property business and this should help people to follow in my footsteps.”
Del, who also runs mentoring and coaching courses, says he now has the writing bug and hopes this is the first in a string of books he plans to publish.
He added: “I have a more strategic book now planned for the more serious investor and I hope that will be published later this year and I have lots of other ideas.”
