June PIM – Susannah Cole : Buy To Sell Property Investment

Susannah Cole is a  successful property investor specialising in Buy To Sell and is based here in Bristol.

Over the last 4 years, since leaving her corporate job, Susannah has built a successful business with over 100 deals completed and she will source another 50 bmv (below market value) properties for herself and investor clients in 2014.

In her presentation she’ll be focusing on buying property, preferably below market vale, for refurbishment and on sale ie “flipping”.

She’ll cover everything from property selection to financial analysis to preparation for purchase and refurbishment, moving on to adding value, the purchase and sale process itself and follow on analysis and learning.

With an MBA, it’s not surprising that  Susannah always focuses on proper analysis and financial returns. She also always looks at team building – especially important in a refurb project, to ensure the work is completed fast and smoothly. Of course, it’s not just the building work, it’s also the agents, the vendors and purchasers and the lawyers.

You’d be surprised quite how many people are needed to complete a project – and they all need to work together.

Susannah will also be going into detail on finding the right property and identifying the right area to invest in. Bristol is a pretty big city and of course, some areas offer much better opportunities than others. It’s all about the right property at the right time in the right place, as we approach property investment too.
