We are delighted to welcome FAT Properties founder Tom Charrier as headline speaker at our March PIM.
Tom is part of a husband and wife team (with his wife Philippa) and is an investor and developer in Yorkshire. They specialise in creating high-end, aspirational, student accommodation with a focus on design, service and community.
He has recently quit his job and is living the dream with his family.
Early on, Tom & Philippa made the conscious decision not to follow traditional property business advice to focus on ROI and yield, maximise HMO bedrooms and keep costs down.
Instead, they applied their own set of values to their business. They invest heavily in design and customer experience. Making money is not the goal.
Tom will talk about how focusing on your core values can improve your property investments, your wider business and your overall brand.
And paradoxically, how by not having the goal of making money, your investments become more profitable.
Tom’s session promises to be both be entertaining and educational for anyone interested in investing in the specialist student market – a great option for any property investors in Bristol, with its huge student population.
So do join us at our next PIM to learn more – at Future Inn, Bristol on Monday, 28 March.
We look forward to seeing you.
