We’re delighted to have Yvonne Emery as our headline speaker at March’s PIM.
Yvonne is a professional property investor who started renovating properties in 1997 and now has a portfolio of properties including several flats, 2 and 3 bed houses and 5 and 6 bed HMO’s (Houses in Multiple Occupancy). Some are financed through Joint Ventures (“using Other People’s Money”). Plus she has rental properties in France and Bulgaria (which she sometimes advertises on Ebay) – as well as her own detached property.
But it didn’t start that way. Her first property was a derelict terrace in North Wales, which had been on the market for 6 years!
Her highest cash-flowing property now brings in £1,200 net per month and needed a deposit of just £20,000. With £15k added for refurbishment and furnishing, the Return on Cash Invested is 41% – you won’t get that from your bank manager!
She’s also passionate about helping those less fortunate and works with a friend via their charity Hope into Action to support vulnerable and homeless adults. In just 2 years this charity grew to 9 properties in Peterborough and Cambridge, housing 25 people. The plan is to roll it out across the UK.
Yvonne believes that the real key to successful property investment is coaching. She’s worked with many well known property experts herself and knows it works.
She’ll be revealing all her top tips for property renovation and flipping – a great model in the new buzzing property market.
Make sure you join us on 27 March 2014 at Holiday Inn, Bristol City Centre, 6-9 pm – it will be a fascinating evening!
