We’re delighted to have Sally Lawson as our headline speaker at February’s PIM.
Sally, a property professional since 1990, is a serial letting agent, business woman and landlord investor.
She is Vice President of ARLA (The Association of Residential Letting Agents) and also the CEO of Concentric Lettings & Sales, a national franchise operation.
She’s also the founder/owner of Lawsons which is one of the most successful independent lettings agencies in the West Midlands, managing over £127 million worth of property today – and over the years has managed more than 6,000 properties with an estimated market value of a staggering £1.1 billion.
Sally’s expertise as a landlord investor, spanning over 20 years, has helped investor landlords buy over 450 properties and refurbish over 250.
Starting out in foster care from the age of 10-16, she started work at 16 in the property sales market in central Birmingham. Sally quickly decided to start her own business and set up Lawsons in 1990. Now Sally likes to help others succeed in their business dreams and goals and fulfils this as a business investor and franchisor, as well as a trainer, coach and mentor.
Sally’s passion runs throughout all of her companies and it is the ongoing training & support for all and ensuring delivery of an exemplary service to the end user clients, her franchisees, the vendors & landlords, at all times. But it doesn’t end there, as she’s also a regular contributor to industry publications and forums, including the BBC, industry magazines such as the Property Investor news for over 3 years, and as a speaker at many landlord events across the UK including Wembley Stadium, Chelsea football club and alongside other speakers of note such as James Caan.
Sally was invited to Buckingham Palace by HRH Prince Charles in 2006 for her charity work with the Princes Trust, following years of working with youngsters looking to set up in their own businesses.
Sally is also a best selling author, regular social media blogger, contributor and producer of hundreds of educational videos, e-books, downloads and products all in aid of improving the knowledge of the end user landlord and agents alike.
